Keep Job Photos with the Repair Record
High-resolution images bound directly to Job IDs. Every photo is automatically tagged, timestamped, and searchable. Never lose visual evidence of completed work again.
Log job milestones, parts used, and hours straight from the field. Generate customer-ready service reports with a single click.
Built specifically for independent heavy-equipment repair and field-service teams of 1–20 technicians, without enterprise bloat or complicated pricing.
Not for residential HVAC or plumbing shops, or fleets with more than 20 technicians. Founding Alpha is limited to approved Oregon shops with up to 5 active technicians.

A reviewed repair record with your shop branding, ready to share.
High-resolution images bound directly to Job IDs. Every photo is automatically tagged, timestamped, and searchable. Never lose visual evidence of completed work again.
Essential fleet numbers without enterprise bloat. Track unit IDs, PO numbers, and service history in a system built for shops of 1–20 technicians.
Data flows instantly between every field phone, shop tablet, and office desktop. Everyone sees the same live job status regardless of where they are.
Dictate job milestones, parts used, and hours while the work is fresh. Mobile audio is processed for transcription and discarded; TreadTrace keeps the transcript, not the recording. Web dictation uses your browser's speech service.
Turn technician notes into a structured service-report draft. Review and correct the draft before sharing a customer-ready service report. The technician controls the final content.

Founder photo coming soon.
I built TreadTrace because finishing the repair did not mean finishing the day. After troubleshooting equipment, replacing parts, and getting machines moving again, I still had to reconstruct the work from notes, photos, messages, and memory. The shop needed a clear record. The customer needed to understand what was done. That paperwork became a second shift.
My background is in mechanical repair, production leadership, and OEM field service. Since 2019, I have supported heavy equipment in the Pacific Northwest, handling onsite repairs, technical support, service writing, quotations, and scheduling. TreadTrace comes from that work.
The idea is simple: capture short updates while the details are fresh, keep photos and parts with the job, and review the service record before sharing it. AI can help organize the notes, but it does not replace a technician's judgment. I want the people doing the repair to spend less time rebuilding the day after it is over.
The early-access waitlist count has not been published yet.

TreadTrace is pre-release. Alpha is free for shops willing to test the product and share candid feedback. February 15, 2027 is a conditional beta graduation target, not an automatic transition. Every plan includes unlimited job logging, photo storage per job, multi-device sync, split-style reporting, PO & quote tracking, and shop branding.

Mobile voice notes are sent to Microsoft Azure AI Speech for transcription. Temporary conversion files are deleted during the request; TreadTrace keeps the text, not an audio recording. Web dictation uses your browser's speech service and sends TreadTrace only text. Azure OpenAI processes field notes to draft reports; Microsoft does not use submitted data to train its models. Technicians review the final content. The privacy policy explains these processing paths.
There is no direct QuickBooks or accounting sync today. TreadTrace produces customer-ready PDF service reports; keep your existing accounting and invoicing process. A service report is not an accounting integration.
The apps support cached records and queued field updates when the connection drops. Sign in and load the job while online first. Updates reach the office after you reconnect and sync; AI transcription and report drafting need a connection. Confirm your exact field workflow during alpha before relying on it at a remote job site.
Start with a job, then add short notes, photos, parts, and hours as the work happens. Voice input is optional. Review the service record before sharing it; alpha onboarding includes help setting up your shop and testing the workflow with your technicians.
Planned beta graduation is February 15, 2027, subject to successful completion of the Founding Alpha graduation criteria. The transition is not automatic.
Billing begins only after an approved graduation to beta. Nothing is charged and no Stripe checkout is created during Founding Alpha.
